Other ingredients that can be used are tomatoes for the tomato cheese fondue, mushrooms (boletus), and a variety of spices for more exotic tastes. As mentionned elsewhere on this site, it is dedicated to traditional cheese fondue, and these special fondues are only briefly mentionned here.
